The Hbis-tt 293 is a modern (1997) high cube box car created by putting a new body on old Hbilss-297 chasses. These cars violate the normal G2 profile, in so far as they have a very large cross section and so can only be used on certain routes. They were specifically built to carry autoparts and other large, bulky items. The doors can be slid all the way across one another, much as in a typical closet. My model, with the usual combination of Huebner parts underneath has fully functional doors.
