The chassis is made of a thick plate. Around the bottom of this is the Skirt. The trucks hide inside the skirt. Between the trucks the frame is visible. On top of the plate is a set of thin strips around the outside that act as a guide so that the body sits snugly in place on top of the chassis.
Skirt - sides
The side panels are made of two parallel strips. The outer strip has the paper glued to it. The interior is simply painted black. The two are .125" apart.
The box covers are glued on the front strip. Then the handle is cut out. A thin rod is glued on from behind. A small black pair of strips (the hinges) are added on top. Also note two small very thin disks which are the latches.
Front Door Steps
There are two side strips connecting inner and outer sheets. Three steps across. Bottom step has two strips forming an inner step.
Side Door Steps
These are like the front steps, but with two halves. So there are 3 strips, instead of two, with three steps, and an inner step. Note white printing in interior.
Skirt - Front
Also note from side view that there is a continuation on the side of the slanted part.
Use prefabricated step, painted black. Also notice standard wire steps below bottom.
Use a pair of prebuilt ones. Also note 3 short tubes glued painted white at end, with a thinner black valve.
There is a black plastic knob (A), a small valve (d) [white strip thin + red valve thin] and a big valve (d) with a white sheet and a red valve (Strip with axel)
Underneath the skirt, between the trucks, set in somewhat, is a series of six panels, with the outer ones taller than the inner ones. The second one has a yellow sign and the revision sign. The third has the fuel tank filler on it. The fourth has the brake levers on it, directly under the door. The fifth has the brake wheel.
